We offer exciting internship opportunities in the Netherlands for students from higher professional education (HBO) and universities who are interested in earth observation (EO) applications. Our internships last from 3 months up to 6 months, depending on your availability and study requirements.
As an intern, you will work closely with an experienced project leader or technical supervisor, both in the office and remotely. This ensures you to get hands-on guidance and learn directly from industry experts. You will have a specific research topic to focus on, which will take up most of your time. The remainder of your time may be spent assisting with other projects.

At NEO, you can contribute to a variety of earth observation projects. Topics are related to:
- Agricultural monitoring
- Asset monitoring
- Tree attributes
- Landscape element
- AI algorithm development
- Software development
- Water
This makes our program ideal for students with different academic backgrounds such as geoinformation, computer science, AI, data science, or environmental studies. We have limited internship vacancy. If your background and expected timeline matches, we will contact you for the first orientation meeting to get to know each other. If we see a match there, we will invite you to have second interview with potential supervisor(s) to discuss the potential topic. If the supervisor(s) see you are a good fit for the topic, our HR will help you with administrative process to include you to do your internship at Terramira!
